This RainStoppers 48" arc Auto Open, Wind Buster, Sport umbrella is constructed of a durable fiberglass shaft and ribs, metal stretchers and finished with a foam rubber handle. Matching case included. 

I am no scientist and have no means to adequately test the uv protectiveness of this umbrella. I bought it for rainy days, not walks in the sunshine, so my experience is that in such conditions it would indeed appear to be protective against Uv radiation as the cloth used seems thick and dark.
